When Kinney, Oceana, and Sammie stumble upon a mysterious bag with magical tiaras inside, their lives change forever. They transform from regular girls into Super Duper Princess Heroes! Their new powers, however, come with strings attached. To keep the magic going, the girls need to help others, to work together as a team, and to always be humble about their abilities. Can these awesome girls rise to the challenge and help save the world? Can they prove that princesses are about courage and independence instead of just fancy dresses and glittering jewelry? You better believe they can!

Based on an ancient and beloved Zen fable, this story is about a wise girl who experiences a series of events that at first seem lucky (or unlucky) but then turn out to be quite the opposite. A bike disappears, but then she gets a new one. She hurts herself, but then she enjoys a nice day at home. For each incident, was what happened good luck? Maybe. Was it bad luck? Maybe. Or, perhaps the girl simply does not get caught up in the emotion of the moment, because she can never know what that event might lead to, “good” or “bad” . . .

Based on an ancient and beloved Zen fable, this story is about a wise boy who helps a girl who isn’t very nice to him. But while his friend becomes upset about the situation, the wise boy simply lets it go and moves on to playing again. The story captures many beautiful Zen concepts – being in the present moment, doing something nice without expecting anything in return, letting go of an unpleasant experience, and not lingering on negative thoughts.

This story is about a wise boy who receives a lot of love – and worry – from his parents. They worry about his health, his happiness, and everything else. Ultimately, the boy reframes how his parents relate to him, asking them to consider focusing on the present moment instead of worrying about the future. The message touches upon core Zen concepts of being present and not letting our worries disconnect us from what is truly important.

“What is not to love about this book about strong girls. Just because your daughter is a princess loving girl doesn’t mean she shouldn’t know there is nothing she can’t do! Great book for parents of daughters!”

“This is the perfect book to empower your little princess and to let her know that she doesn’t have to wear fluffy pink with glittery flecks or rely on a man to rescue or marry her … why? … because she is quite capable of having amazing adventures on her own and of saving the world all by herself, thank you very much. The positive message imparted to your little girl is that a girl can be a heroine, she can save the day, and she can be strong and and independent.”

“What I like about this book is that it was different from all the usual princess books. As we see with most princesses who are usually wearing pretty dresses and wearing a crown, sparkling accessories and of course their unmistakable beauty. However this book shows a different type of princess, someone who is courageous, smart and self determined. The book shows children how teamwork is very important and how the princesses use their power wisely. The minute my daughter started to read the book she was captivated by the illustrations, and the story gave her great inspiration.”

“This book series embraces several Zen concepts of living, in which the author hopes to inspire his readers to ‘consider life in a different perspective’. Important life values are highlighted in each story, such as enjoy each moment of your life, do something nice without expecting a reward, let go of bad experiences, dwell on the positive and not the negative. These books, intended for little ones ages 5 to 8, put into perspective long lasting and impressionable life lessons that even adults still struggle with today. Make a note to collect these books for your kids’ must-read collection.”

“This soulful little book, with its colorful pictures, teaches kids the valuable message that sometimes not getting what they want is a good thing… a message many adults are still struggling to learn.”

“What an opportunity to read a beautifully written and illustrated children’s book that is meant to be read to a child but whose message is specifically targeting parents! This book really had an impact on me because I could recognize myself in the characters of the parents. . . . Along with this important message, the book is beautifully illustrated.  . . .This is one of my favorite pictures books of the year! I would highly, highly recommend this book to parents who have children ages 3+.“
